Where It Started
A Passion for Squash
What began on a squash court in Abu Dhabi grew into something bigger—a mission to celebrate every player's dedication to the game we love.
The Journey
The Beginning (2008)
My squash journey began in 2008 in the Middle East. As cabin crew working out of Abu Dhabi, I discovered a sport that would change my life. What started as a way to stay active between flights quickly became an all-consuming passion.
The Mentor
I was fortunate to learn from Barry G., an exceptionally skilled and professional player. His diligence, dedication to practice, and pure love for the game was infectious. Playing with Barry as often as possible helped me grow not just as a player, but as someone who truly appreciates what squash represents—discipline, strategy, and the relentless pursuit of improvement.
A Global Journey
Over 15 years in aviation took me around the world, and I carried my passion with me everywhere. From Sri Lanka to Singapore, New Zealand to the UK, the US to Europe, and eventually Romania—every court told a different story, every match brought new friends, and every game deepened my love for squash.
The Romania Chapter
Now established in Romania, my love for squash has only grown stronger. Together with a group of friends who share the same passion, we founded a squash club in Bucharest. Every week we organize events, welcoming players of all levels. Our vision? To build one of the most vibrant squash communities in the city.
